Marketing Collateral – Pitch Deck Design
Spark Collective is a NYC-based social enterprise that delivers parent and ultimately people focused management, leadership coaching, and customized trainings for individuals and cohorts.
Spark’s founder, Callan Blount-Fleming, was looking for a brand refresh for her startup. The previous look and feel was very earthly and dull; nothing like a spark.
While exploring the approach for their visual identity, it was important to incorporate the welcoming and warm nature of Spark Collective’s culture. We felt that needed to be represented as Callan and team met with leaders to train them to be more people centered.
We crafted a bright, yet soft color palette to consistently display their energy throughout all mediums. We opted to use the orange from the color palette as the primary logomark color to best convey the word “spark”.
Choosing brighter, more bold colors represents the company being bold in the solutions they recommend to their clients, as well as their nature to speak on the inequalities parents face in the workplace.
When designing their WordPress website, we intentionally used more conservative typography while conveying Spark Collective’s personality with the graphic use. We call it balance.
We then applied the same design strategy to bring Spark Collective’s energy to their pitch deck.
